Thanksgiving

It's that time of the year again, where families are reunited and roasted turkeys are served on the table of every (or most) households.

The Thanksgiving Day celebration dates back to as far as the 16th Century, where initially it was a designated day to give thanks to God for a common purpose. Today, it is a Federal Holiday in the United States, and for 2009, Thanksgiving Day will be observed on the 26th of November (oh yeah, the following day's a holiday too).

Coincidentally, Thanksgiving Day marks the start of the season of Advent, the weeks that lead up to Christmas.

Ah... I can feel the holiday mood setting in already... one more Month End Close before our 2-week shutdown, I'm just wondering where should I go, and where should I take Mom and Michelle for holidays...

Anyway, we just had a good 3-day vacation up at Cameron Highlands along with Michelle's relatives. We'll be posting something on it soon, along with pictures. Stay tuned!
